Why /wouldn't/ you want to try to research them, assuming that you have the tree back to that point solid and verified? Or are you asking whether more recent non-direct-ancestor relatives are more worth spending the time on? It all depends on what you're trying to achieve. Personally I find my nineteenth century relations far more interesting/relatable and thus worthwhile than many of the earlier ones (and in many cases the 19th century ones are actually harder to research in practice, partly because they started pushing off to California etc.)

Hi Mandy
Many thanks for your contribution here . It all makes sense!. I do have a f tree for all my ancestors and evidence to back it all up . So my 8th G Grandfather was a French Huguonot refugee. He was a pastor in France and carried on this role in Kent and Stanford le hope in the UK . Thanks and best wishes to you .

It is wise to supply all the information you have on that family so it will not be lost. By supplying it then any other records out there will have a place to be attached to. But then you might want to just move on to other areas of your tree. Maybe put a watch on the tree to notify you if others are adding information that you did not have.
