Toplovka, Hungary
The town of Toplovka in the Kingdom of Hungary brings up no records in FamilySearch, which likely means that the church registers for this town are located in a nearby place. I've searched a number of nearby towns on a map of Zémplen County, but I haven't had any luck finding a register that records life events from this town. Does anyone know where they might be located?

If you go to Wiki pages for Topolovac you see a result. A village near Sisak. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Topolovac,_Sisak-Moslavina_County
Hope that helps.

That is actually a different city by the same name. Toplovka, Hungary in Zémplen County is now Topoľovka in the Humenne District of the Prešov Region of Slovakia. It has entries in both Slovak Wikipedia: https://sk.wikipedia.org/wiki/Topo%C4%BEovka
And Hungarian Wikipedia: https://hu.wikipedia.org/wiki/Topol%C3%B3ka
So it doesn't answer my question of where to find baptisms recorded for that town in FamilySearch.

Sorry about that. I located a web site with the Hungary digitized gazetteers. I found this article that may be of some help. How to trace Hungarian records.

@Dave2425 Perhaps try these records for the Humenné District.

@SerraNola Yes, that's one of several places nearby I thought to look at, but I'm not seeing any residents of Toplovka in the registers, unless I'm missing them or the town went by a different name locally in that time period. I'm focusing around 1889 for a current search.

I don't know much about researching in Hungary. But here is the FS wiki page for Hungary: https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Hungary_Genealogy
