I am trying to locate ancestor information on william alexander taylor

The information I have is he was married to nancy b gaines. I do not know date of wedding.

I have a birth date for william of 1775 and a death date of 1848. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Not anything to 'confirm', but she is living with what I think are Gaines relatives following the death of her husband

Thank you for your response. He was born in Virginia and died in Owen Kentucky.

I have not been able to verify any of that info. That info is what I have found floating

around on the web. He has been found in the 1830 and 1840 census. Those do not

say much, the dates of his birth seem to match.

Mark, yes and no. He is the one I have however I was looking for a link between he and Nancy B Gaines

as confirmation of marriage. I cannot seem to find the father of William Alexander Taylor. Thank you

yes, I did see that and that is a key link. Surprised however she did not stay with her children.

Of course I do not know what the circumstances were at that time. Thank you for for diligence

and helping me out.
