The Stories section of the Together App has specific sections with specific questions that are answered with text. Under Stories - About Me - then Create Your Own or Personal Journal - you can upload a photo with your text.

To upload audio, you need to select Activites, then Record My Story. This then will take you out of the Together App to this feature on FamilySearch, where you can record audio.

If you have additional questions as you put together your training, here is another source that might be helpful….

We have a Community Group called "Together by FamilySearch Feedback Group."

Click the link and click to "Join." This group has lots of information about the Together app… including reported issues and lots of questions/answers similar to yours.

    Best wishes!

How do you connect an audio recording you have made for 'Record My Story' since it takes you out of the app to make it?

Hi again. Unfortunately, the Together App is built more as a "text-sharing" tool. Images are easy to share (after you click through the Together app story/question prompts, you can easily add images).

But you cannot add audio to your Together stories.

The "Record my Story" is a great tool, but that is better utilized on the FamilySearch Website. Not on the app. If you use the "Record my Story," it will be added to your Gallery (accessed through Memories in top header, then Gallery). You could then share that audio memory to anyone….open the audio Memory, then in the top right, you can find a "share" icon. That will allow you to get a link to share with anyone.
