Hi @Kim-N-Charlene. Do you mean that you can get the fan chart the way you want it, but the print button won't work? Does the PDF page pop up? From there you would need to select the print button in the top right and choose the options. If the PDF page doesn't load in a new window, it may be an issue with allowing pop-ups. A different browser may solve that, or you may have to allow pop-ups from the FamilySearch website.
This may also help you:
Otherwise, if the issue is with the fan chart itself, you may need to adjust who the starting person is:

Boy I think I am totally lost! Its been a few years since I did this. I'm trying to go to my Son who is still living and I click onto him and his family and it comes right back to mine! Will it not allow me to add him? And I just found out the print seven button.😮 so grateful for you giving me heads up about that one! 😚

Hi @Kim-N-Charlene.
No worries. If you are trying to make a fan chart for your son, from the home page, go to your Tree.
First make sure that Fan chart is selected. It may be hard to see amongst the names of your ancestors, but will be located below the button that says My Contributions. When fan chart is selected as the display choice, click the button nearby that looks like a house to reset the tree to start with you.
Examine the tree and find your son's name below your own. Select his name. On the right side of the page, a pop-up panel will appear for your son. Click the TREE button on that panel. This should set the tree so that your son is the starting person.
Now left of where you clicked the home button—the one that looked like a house—locate the options button (which looks like two lines with squares on them). Click it and the options pop-up will now show on the right side panel. Now click PRINT.
You should now be in a new window with the fan chart with your son as the starting person. Find the printer icon in the top right of the page and then choose how to print it through your computer.
Let us know if that works or if you still need some help.

Oh my goodness I got it too work, and now I can't remember. I click the printer icon and it splits it in half. So I went to download the file, (I added the adobe file) and it finally worked. After trying to down load it three times. Now can you walk me through this one more time so I can save it? Thanks Everyone!

Where I'm getting lost is the downloading part! When I go to go into it the file isn't there! Should I be down loading it under downloads or documents? Okay so now I have downloaded under both of them. And page not found? I'm missing a couple of important steps.

Hi @Kim-N-Charlene.
You don't have to download first to print. You should be able to print directly from the new window. Is there a new window that loads when you first click print?
If you did download the file, press CTRL and the letter J at the same time. That should open a new window showing all of your recent downloads. From there, click the file icon. Then, double click the file in the new pop-up and it will open.
Once the file is open on your computer, you can either find the printer icon or you press CTRL and the letter P to print.
If nothing pops-up when you press CTRL+J, that may mean the file didn't download.
