I cannot go any further or it just keeps repeating. How can I delete this relative (who appears earlier in the timeline) so that I can add the proper name?

If it is a duplicate and you cannot delete than merge the 2 duplicates keeping the one with the most complete information.

Thank you! I just posted another question. Maybe you can help. A branch of our tree which I have been working on for one month has disappeared as if no data had been entered. Have you ever had this happen? I loved using this site but today I was heartbroken. I don't know what happened.

sometimes this can happen simply because two individuals were "disconnected" (dont assume just because they disappeared that they were deleted)
tell me the names and birth dates of the child that now - doesnt have any parents - and the parent who has "disappeared"
