When will the Mexico search include the State of México (Estado de México)?

Two years ago it was removed from the general search. It was then replaced with México the country. It is now only found in the Wiki.

@Mike Brady Yes, the links to collections for the state of Mexico have not been found in Search by Place for quite some time. It was reported and seems to have slipped through the cracks. I will follow up. In the meantime, I would suggest bookmarking this catalog page for State of Mexico and clicking on "Places within State of Mexico" then choosing the place you want to search. For searching the entire State of Mexico there are these collections:

    Mexico, Mexico Civil Registration

    Mexico, Mexico Catholic Church Records

Records from these collections are retrievable with a general search.

I know I was involved in a lengthy discussion on the topic some months ago, probably in the Latin American Caribbean Research group. I thought it was escalated (again) from that discussion.
