Wrong 'photo / painting of my Fletcher line grandmothers from 13th ggm to 35th ggm.
Hi,
Someone or people have placed 'imagery' that is supposed to be of the above great grandmothers ascending from my maternal grandfather. They have also used the Scots Fletcher insignia when the line is actually English Nobility. They need to be removed. Sure my line is partially Fletcher of St. Andrews, Fife family, but it has only been so since the battle of Prestonpans. Before that it was English, so there should be no Scots insignia.

Have you tried contacting them to point this out (click on their username, which should be shown on the Memory, and also on the relevant Change Log entry)? If they are uncontactable or don't respond, or anyway, you can normally fix such problems yourself in this collaborative tree (assuming you have sources to back up your view).

Hi MandyShaw1,
It is obvious that the photos are not of the ancestors or associated with them. One usage is that of the Scots Fletcher Clan insignia being used for Fletcher of Cockermouth / Fletcher Family of St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland. The other is a photo of the same woman whose dress is quite clearly not of the era of my ancestress. I have deleted the pics from the profiles, but they are still attached to the profiles in other ways and I am unable to delete them.

Were you unable to contact the user who put all this in place?
Also, re 'they are still attached to the profiles in other ways' - can you provide an example please?
I would start by putting an alert on each profile asking people not to add this stuff again & explaining why.
