Peruvian Catholic Church record retrieval

I am looking for a marriage certificate for my mother in law from a very specific catholic church in Lima, Peru. I have a one year date range but not the exact date of marriage. Have not been able to find it through the normal public records. where would I look for this short of taking a flight to Lima?

Have you tried contacting the specific church directly? Either by snail mail or email?

Depending on what year your mother-in-law married, privacy restrictions may be in force, meaning the record would not be online.
