American Birth Certicate
Hi, I am looking for my husbands aunts birth certificate.
Olivella De Mita Born 02 February 1909 In Newark New Jersey.
I found the birth record, however do not understand the place of Birth 1. How do I get a copy of the actual birth certificate?

I recommend that you use a researcher who will retrieve a copy from the state archives. The service will be faster and less expensive.

You can also order a copy from the state health department.
