Carmen's birth

The record in question is on the left side for Carmen Bonet Benitez. It looks like the registration date is 3 Jan 1890. I am looking for her birth date. On line 13 of the record, I found the word "nacio". I can make out the twenty-six for the date, but does that say the month is February of the preceeding year [1889]? Would there be nearly a year between the birth and civil registration? That seems unusual. THANKS for any help.

@Steve Schell I consulted a friend (with younger eyes) because I was struggling to read the register.

It would seem that the indexed date is incorrect. The register reads
que nacio en la casa del declarante el dia veinte y seis del mes proximo pasado a las diez de la manana

meaning that the child was born on the 26th of the month just past

In other words, the birth occurred on 26 Dec 1889 and was reported on 3 Jan 1890.

    Hope that helps.

Thank you so much. That is exactly what I was looking for.
