Have two people been made into one person?

The entry Catherine Annennontak Senecal Female LTCP-GWD used to be for Catherine Annenontak. Catherine Senecal is a different person. Annenontak was a member of the Huron Nation, Senecal was born in France. Annenontak was married three times, perhaps that is the source of the confusion.

There are multiple merges in the change log. You can contact the relevant users by clicking on their usernames; though obviously they aren't obliged to respond, they will hopefully be prepared to discuss their thinking in more detail than is given in the reason statements and on the Collaborate tab.
You also have the option of restoring one or more of the merged-in profiles from the change log.

This is just wrong. There is plenty of documentary evidence in the Family Search archives and elsewhere to support Catherine Annennontak of the Huron-Wendat tribe as the wife of Jean Durand and two others after him, and (username removed) has obliterated her existence based on flimsy evidence as far as I can tell. No 'merge' is necessary-Catherine Annennontak and Catherine Senecal are two different people. I don't speak French so I can't contest this, but I sincerely hope that someone at Family Search will make the attempt.

Where do I post information to prove my point?

Family Tree was intentionally created as an open-edit system. Anyone can edit the profiles on the family tree. If you feel you have enough sources to show there are two people instead of one, you are very welcome to separate the two profiles. Don't forget to attach sources and explain why you think there are two people. This helps others in the future to understand why they shouldn't be merged.
If you need help with finding records or just a sounding board, feel free to post right here in the Community. We'll see what we can do to help you find what you need.

I would suggest you document your concerns on the profile Collaborate tab, attempt to get the merging users to work with you on resolving the problems, but in the end feel free to put verifiable, sourced changes in place yourself, unless the other users have verifiable sources that contradict your version.
Note that all changes to FT are the responsibility of the user community, there is no FS team that gets involved in this sort of thing.
You may perhaps find it helpful to join a relevant (e.g. geographical) Community Group for specific help and/or translation assistance.
