I'm in the process of adding my pedigree resource file to the family tree. One of the families is old and well established and there is a particular individual who is unhappy with the fact that I am adding particular people to the tree which ends up being duplications of the information that is there. As I add them, I can't see that they are duplicates.

He is deleting the duplications I put up, but as I look at my pedigree resource file list of people they end up back in the list. to be resubmitted.

How do I delete them from the list of people to be added to the family tree.

The solution to the problem is to stop using the compare-and-add process. As you've discovered, it is badly flawed: it fails to identify duplicates, and it allows you to make changes to the Tree without allowing you to see what's already there. I am in full sympathy with the user who has been deleting your duplicated additions, and you will be, too, once you've gained some experience in the collaborative environment.

Use your uploaded file as a static reference as you explore the shared Family Tree. If you find a detail or person that hasn't been added to it yet, you can do so using the tools provided in the Tree and the copy-and-paste functions of your device's operating system.

Alternatively, use a FS partner solution such as RootsMagic which will load your gedcom, give you clear visibility individual by individual of matches on FS, and then let you add an unmatched individual or make specific granular changes to an existing one, all without retyping.

The compare and add process in FT uses the general FT duplicate checker, which skews towards avoiding false positives and thus allows many false negatives, i.e. duplicates, through unchallenged (as you are seeing). I submitted an Idea concerning this a while ago but it is currently in limbo awaiting the new Ideas system.

So, as Julia says, please don't use the compare and add process.

Okay I ran the roots Magic comparison file. It showed me all the matches that I had on family search. I did not see an option to add the unmatched people into family search. Can you make a suggestion about where I can find this information. I didn't see it in The Roots magic documentation.

I wouldn't do the automatic match at all, I'd do them one by one. The 'Find matches' and 'Share data' buttons are what you need. If that doesn't help, post again and I will do you some screenshots.

If I go to add them to FamilySearch, it will say that they are really there. My problem is I've got like 25,000 of these. Hard to do one at a time.

It would be useful to know why you want to reflect all of them in FT, I think.

You've already got the information as a PRF in Genealogies, which gives you a publicly available backup. And you could be selective about which individuals you update to FT.
