First Ancestor

I am trying to change a first ancestor of a father previously chosen ancestor. It is not recognizing that change.

Good evening. Can you please explain further what it is you are trying to do? Are you wanting to change the name of a child in a specific line, or add an additional child? Or something else entirely different.

Hello, I added a new person Hans Wilhelm Ram G1BX-Z51 as the first ancestor to an existing person Christophorus Rahm M96C-ZY4 who was entered as the current first ancestor by someone else. It seemed fairly straight forward and I went back and reread the instructions. I was able to connect Hans to Christophorus (attached) but just for the two of them and not the other existing descendants (attached). When I clicked on View Relationship for Hans Wilhelm Ram I get the correct male descendant line (attached). I understand the Tree was originally intended for I believe Chinese ancestors but I find it very helpful and share it frequently with other people. Thank you
