I’m working on this batch of Ohio Naturalization Records (US, Ohio—Naturalization Records, 1848–1966 [Part B] [MQ5V-T7H]), the date listed on the records are “Date of Arrival” but the form is titled “Facts for Declaration of Intention”. Do we put the “Date of Arrival” as the record date? The last paragraph on the form references a circular from 1916. Thank you!

You will enter the Date of Arrival as the record date. The 1916 date is for the clerk, not the applicant.
