film titel
if you look at film
1358842 | 5334336 |
---|---|
it indicates :
Tienjarige tafels geboorten A-S 1833-1842 : ..birth records
if you look at the film : it contains death records instead of birth records
it has been verified by looking up the date for the indicated city and it all points to death records

DGS 5334336
The title in the catalog refers to Tienjarige tafels (Tables of the Decade) not specifying births or deaths. https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/573354
Looking at Image 5, on DGS 5334336, the first record image of Item 1 on the DGS/film, the title is Naissances, French for Births.
Item 2 on that same DGS begins on Image 346. The first record image of that group is on Image 348, and it, too, is titled Naissances or Births.
Item 3 begins on Image 595. The first record image is 597; there is no title indicating what vital records are included; it is a list of names and dates beginning with the A surnames.
The first record image in Item 4 (the last item on the DGS) is on Image 981; it is a continuation of the book from Item 3, starting at letter L and ending with S.
DGS 5588816 - the catalog reference is also to the 10-year/decade tables.
Item 1 is titled, in English, General Birth Tables. The first record image is Image 4, starting with the Letter S, following on from the previous series.
Item 2, at Image 147, is Actes de Mariages (Marriage Licenses).
The record images immediately after Item 2 are locked - likely for privacy reasons because they may contain more recent records.
Item 4 on that DGS begins on Image 834 and is entitled Parish Registers. The first record image is #836, and the title is Births.
Item 5 begins on Image 899, Parish Registers. The first record is on Image 901. After some abbreviation lists, the photocopied and typed pages are entitled Huwelijken or Marriages.
Item 6 begins at 931, again Parish Registers. Another photocopied register, the first record is on 933 and refers to baptisms.
Older Films often contained a mix of records, sometimes not even from the same city, but I do see that these DGS contain anything explicitly labeled Deaths.
