Accessing Quebec Catholic Parish Registers, 1621-1979
I was gathering records from this source for half the morning and was hung once. I got back in, saved a few more source records and attached them to trees, then tried to get a few more records but it won't let me get back in to the Quebec Catholic Parish Registers, 1621-1979. I am almost certain now that these problems arise from corrupted pointers in that new "improved" record navigation software. If that's the problem, it wouldn't surprise me if that whole set of records needs to be reloaded. I had no trouble getting into the Ontario Roman Catholic set of records; I just hope that set of records isn't now corrupted too.
Is anyone else having problems like this? I think it probably only arises if you have been searching for several (e.g., ten) records and saving them to your sources, as I have been doing.

I've been in and out of multiple unindexed collections the last several days, working on early probate in the late colonial period and early USA. I've viewed and saved dozens of records, and I've had no problems. I also regularly work in the Quebec RC records, without issue.
Windows 10, both Chrome and Firefox, all fully up-to-date. FWIW, I do find that Chrome generally allows me to work faster in FamilySearch, since some of the recent viewer changes.1
