MY CONTRIBUTIONS -> PRIVATE PEOPLE

Good morning.

In the Family Tree app, the section under My Contributions entitle Private Persons no longer shows a list of 200 of your Private Persons. Now there is just a message that says "Your contributions, including private people you have added, will appear here." Why are those results not being shown any longer?

Also wondering if we can add another column in FamilySearch under Private People that includes any research helps that need to be completed. This is extremely helpful to scroll through and see possible records of those that may have passed away.

If this isn't the correct place to put recommendations for the developers, does anyone know where to add those suggestions?

I just checked My Contributions, Private People in the App on my Android tablet. The list of names displays as expected.

So the issue is with Apple devices? I've checked on my phone and tablet, both Apple, and neither has the list.

I am a Mac user as well. On my Mac My Contributions > Private People no longer functions. There is now a new 'Private People' option on the menu bar that appears just before My Contributions.

On my phone I go to Recents and there is a tab there for Private People.

I can't say if it is only Apple. I do know that it helps the developers troubleshoot when they are aware of different results from various users.

hereI had this same issue and found the list of private persons has moved. To locate it in the app, click “recent” in the menus icons in the bottom of the app, then “private people.”
