Does a person have to be confirmed before there marriage in the Late 1790 - 1813.

    If your question pertains to Roman Catholics, a person should have all the sacraments before marriage, but not all priests are/were sticklers. Not until the Ne Temere decree of 1907 were priests obligated to verify the intervening sacraments.
