Please see entry 6. It lists the biological parents as Elijah and Mary John but under the child's name I think it says (adopted by Val Robert married to Abraham Christian 1/21/1914. Do I list the biological parents or adoptive parents and do I have the names spelled correctly? I can find nothing in the PI's to address this situation.

Thanks,

I think the surname is Jolin. For the parents I would use Elijah Jolin or Val Robert and I would leave the comment for Abraham Christian for the researcher to see as it could easily be the child Elizabeth's marriage on Jan 21 1942 - enlarge your image one more click to see the possibility of Jolin rather than John and the 1942 rather than 1914.

I'd index both sets. The only thing I can 100% decipher from the adoptive parents is Robert. The first name may be Noel; comparing that and the Maggie in entry 14, it looks like it's a N, but it could also be "You" or "Nou."
