Entry Type for Papua New Guinea—Civil Registration, 1892–1980

I am currently working on this batch. However, it does not specify what type of record this is. I am not sure whether to put birth or death registration. I am certain though that this is not a marriage certification. What do you enter in the Entry Type if you are not sure whether it is a birth or death registration? Thank you!

We would need to see your batch or a link to the batch to see what type of record it is.

Given that shared batches are missing the reference images (for some inexplicable reason), we can't help you do this even if you do reply with the batch ID, but that'd be my first step: look at the preceding and following images to see if the type of record is labeled anywhere. Also carefully check the project instructions, especially the example images. Civil registrations are usually on pre-printed forms, and while those forms can evolve over the years, the differences are usually minor, so you should be able to identify the type of event based on the format and contents of the examples versus your batch.
