I have long lists, 3 columns to a page, not marked as death or baptism, just names and dates. There is occasionally more than one name with the same date. And a few times, they share the sirname and have similar given names. Twins? This is my only clue that it may be baptisms. Is that enough to go on?

Have you paged forward and back in the reference images, to see if there are headers somewhere? If there aren't, you can try clicking Batch - About Batch to get the film number, and look that up in the Catalog.

It could well be an index of the register. Some of the registers have handwritten indexes, grouped by family name.
