In the Catholic Church, no. Baptism is for an infant. Confirmation is for a child, usually, at the age of reason. 2 separate sacraments.

    The project instructions:

    • Index all records with information about a birth, baptism, christening, marriage, marriage banns/intention, death, or burial.
    • Mark all other images, including those containing only confirmation or communion records, in Step 1: Images as No, No Extractable Data.

Thank you for your response, so my next question would be, do we index these records and if so, how? Thank you once again.

Thank you for your response, I am aware of the project description, and have come across sacrament and communion records and from some response i have received, they say to just return to batch, however, I agree with your answer.
