My sister's birthdate is incorrect because the Census record was recorded incorrectly

    If you are talking about correcting one within Family Tree, you simply go to the person's Details page and click on the pencil icon under "Birth" in the Vitals section. You can then delete the current input and add the correct detail.

    However, if you are referring to a FamilySearch source, some of these can be edited, but some have the "Edit" greyed-out, so cannot be changed. If / when you add the sources to your relative's profile, you can record the error in the date under "Reason to Attach Source" and can also add a note about the error under the Collaboration section, if you wish.
