Translation Request Italian Birth Records
Please translate these two birth records. The first record is for Maria Sacca b. Jan 1866 her parents are Nicloa Sacca and Maria De Stefano. The second record is for Anna Sacca b. Apr 1866 her parents are Nicola Sacca and Veneranda Palialogo. Please verify the birth dates and the names of the parents in both records. Can you tell me if the father in both records is the same man? If he is the same man, is there any explanation in the records as to how this man fathered two children, with two different women, only 3 months apart with no marriage between births. If available please provide the names of the grandparents
Thank You

The short answer to your question is "No, they are not the same person."
- Maria Teresa Sacca (birth reported on 4 Jan 1866) Actual date of birth 31 Dec 1865 - father, Nicola Sacca, age 41, landowner, reported the birth of the child by his wife Mariantonia DeStefano, age 23 [note the use of honorific titles Signor and Signora indicating a higher social standing]
- Anna Sacca (reported 25 Apr 1866) Actual date of birth 24 Apr of the current month and year, so 1866. Father, Nicola Sacca, son of the deceased Paolo, age 37, coachman, presented a female child that he reported was born of his wife Veneranda Palialago, daughter of Domenico, age 26, and living in his home. [Margin note - she died 7 Mar 1945]
I would venture to say that there are probably numerous men by the same name in that town. Considering Italian naming conventions and other local customs, it is extremely common.
You can check the marriages and births for each of them to verify the lineage of these men and see which may be your ancestor.
