Linker proposes incorrect links when already linked
Hint resolves to incorrect proposed links although correct links already exist (and proposes DETACHing the correct links, of course). Related to the source extraction not having gender?? Related to the title MRS not being parsed off?
For an example, see the "Oklahoma School Records" hints on KC71-H4R
Thanks!

This is due to the sex of the parents not having been indexed and spouse of the focus person being labeled spouse rather than husband or wife. The source linker can't deal with the situation and apparently can't make use of the existing source attachment to display the right hand column in the proper order.
If you go into the record and edit the index by adding the sex both parents, that might fix the display in the source linker. However, sometimes editing the index makes the entry vanish so until that bug is fixed, I'd be hesitant to edit anything. For now it looks best to just dismiss the hint.
It is good to see that as soon as you hover over the green box on the left for a person, the dark green boarder appears to show that it is actually attached properly.

All three school record hints are for attaching the wife's record to the husband, so they should all be dismissed as "not a match" — and Source Linker isn't doing anything wrong. The hinting algorithm, as Gordon says, is getting it wrong because the index contains no gender information for the parents, and the algorithm is apparently programmed to ignore title fields.
You can see that Source Linker is doing nothing wrong if you consider what would happen if the hints were correct, i.e., if the previous attachments had gotten the parents switched.
