In tree view, would like to toggle spouses

In the tree view (displayed as cards for each person), I like the little icon indicating there is more than one spouse. I would like to be able to toggle/select a different spouse right from that icon. This as opposed the present method whereby you click on the little multiple-spouse icon from a person's card, and a new pane pops up on the right where you then need to click the tree icon before things refresh.
