Someone gave me an old Temple Ready disk that they wanted me to try and "read" to see what was on it. Of course I not only need a computer that has a 3 1/2" drive but also the old PAF program on it. I have not found either one of those things. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might read this disk? The sister is in her 90s and I would love to help her if possible.

Hi Chris - Welcome to FamilySearch Community and asking your question about old files and PAF. If you do a google search for PAF 5, you will find a number of places offering a download of PAF 5. You should exercise your normal cautions about downloading. There are also other modern programs that will read PAF files directly. You can look in the solutions gallery on family search for listings of 3rd party programs. As far as reading the disks, you obviously need to find a computer that has a 3.5 drive. Here again, Google is your friend. Just search "how to read old 3.5 floppy disk" and you will find lots of ideas. You can buy an external 3.5 drive for a few bucks, or you may find a computer repair store that actually has a computer with a drive and can read the disk. I think there are several options. Good luck
