New Source Linker should keep the data it suggests and appears to save.

Using the new source linker it is great that dates and locations appear to be standardized

Such as the for the "Obituary" data here:

Screenshot 2024-02-12 at 10-57-39 Source Linker • FamilySearch.png

But once this source was attached, looking at the profile you see

Screenshot 2024-02-12 at 10-59-17 Edna I Hagerman (1900–1997) • Person • Family Tree • FamilySearch.png

here the date does not match what was claimed to be saved, but I have seen location with the same problem

Hello everyone. I'm part of the FamilySearch product team working on the new Source Linker. We appreciate all of your feedback and suggestions. Our engineers have recently created a fix for this. Please let us know if you are still encountering problems and we will continue to address them. Thank you!

I have seen this as well, though the info seemed to be on their detail page when I went back there. Fortunately, it didn't duplicate the info when I detached and reattached. Even on the reattachment, it didn't show on the source linker page.

Also, when attaching the 1940 Census a Residence Event is created for 1935 but none is created for 1940! The 1940 Residence Event has to be created manually.

This has been reported here many times and we've been told the programmers are working on a fix for this bug.

Yes, I tried it a couple times and it looks like it is working correctly now.
