Family member with no source attached?

We should never assume in genealogy. Even when there are many sources attached, we should verify that the sources are accurate and not just records for someone with the same or similar name.

I would say no, indeed in my verification efforts I have been looking for at least one source (whether a FS Record or not) that showed that person in the correct family context, e.g. birth registration showing correct maiden name for mother, burial of immediate family members in same cemetery, census record that looks reasonable for that family at that time, etc.

Thank you very much! I kind of felt that way. If I couldn't find some connection I stopped at that point. I have worked years on doing my and my wife's genealogy. I find it fascinating. I have been able to disprove and prove family stories. I also fascinating with seeing family hand writing on forms. It brings a closer personal connection to them.
