So I understand that the Oath of Allegiance is a stand alone document and have always indexed it as such.

With the different comments regarding combining records, I am wondering if these records should be combined? In the popup window it says: When combining information from multiple non-overlapping documents on the same image for the same individual, use the record number and record date of the Petition for Naturalization.

Should I combine the documents on image 2 using the record number and date of the Petition for Naturalization? Or make 2 separate entries? The only difference between the 2 documents is the second gives the spouse's date of birth. Other than the OOA, should I always combine documents for the same person on the same image?

Is image 2 an example of 2 documents that should be combined? The only different information is the date of birth of the spouse (and of course the record date) Should these be combined or indexed separately?

DECs and PETs that are for the same person on the same image are to be combined, including any and all name variants.

Michigan immigration records have no provision for entering spouse information. I have made two entries of immigration records. The quality check demands spouse information. For what I can tell the immigrants could have been unmarried. I can’t proceed to submit!

@Randall Anthony Robinson, as always in every indexing project on FS, if there is no information for a required field, you simply need to mark the field blank. One way to do that is by typing Ctrl-B (or your OS's equivalent for Ctrl).
