About that catalogue

Québec, les avis de décès et nécrologies, 1940-1990

https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/1419194?availability=Family%20History%20Library

It could provide a lot of information but I would like to know if anyone knows if there is some kind of order between the volumes and in the volumes that saves me from having to consult every single page hoping for luck in finding the persons I'm looking for.

Thanks a lot

The catalog claims that "The collection is organized alphabetically by surname", but that can't be universally true, given that the same page can have a Merrill next to a Bouchard, and even when an individual page has all the same surname, there can be a page of Dallaires in a volume following the one with a page of La Fontaines.

This collection really needs an index or other search method. It's literally newspaper clippings, so even a basic OCR "transcription" would be helpful, but I have no idea whether anyone has done such a thing for it.
