Allow the viewer to make corrections missed and blocked by the new AI software.
FamilySearch wants volunteers to help correct the names and dates, but the new AI software is completely inflexible and only allows the names it identifies within a certain section of the document. The correct name many times is in the margins, but the AI software doesn't allow the user to highlight it nor correct it. The only options to choose from are letters or names it identifies, often wrongly misspelled with no other options to correct it. A living person can read and interpret the abbreviations and poor handwriting. But with the new AI software, it sees what it sees (many times it's wrong) and it is impossible to fix because the software won't allow it. And what is worse, is that if one corrects the wrong name to the right name, the wrong name disappears --- even if it was the name one was looking for in the search -- because the AI software deletes it. For example: My search found a listing for my ancestor Salvador Villacorta Marenco as the name of the child being baptized. He wasn't the child, he was the godfather, and his wife was the godmother. Her name was on the list of names to select as a godparent. His name was not, so it could not be added. I finally got the software to list the correct name of the child, but in so doing, Salvador Villacorta Marenco's name was deleted --- even though it was clearly visible in the text showing him as a godparent. Under the new software, this valuable document about his life is lost. This happens over and over. What a nightmare!! How can FamilySearch expect the public to help them edit documents so families can find the ancestors if the AI software -- that is often wrong -- strictly limits our options? The old software was much better and easier to use. The reader could correct the name and spellings of the child, the father and mother, the godparents, the dates, the parish, birth dates, baptism dates, and so other details. This new software is terrible. It makes disastrous mistakes that won't help people find their loved ones.

The child's name is Presentacion Gusman (her name is easily readable in the left margin) and hyphenated on two lines in the document. The software doesn't allow us to highlight it, neither in the text nor in the margin.
The child's name is shown as Given Name: Leocadio é Ygini
Surname: Gusman ? Quija
Name: Leocadio Guzmán e Ygini ? Quija ño
One can correct the child's name to Presentacion Gusman. Sometimes the new software won't allow it.
The software will not allow the name of her parents to be entered because they aren't a name that the software identified as a Relationship .... incorrectly, I may add.
Her parents names are easily readable in the document: Leocadio Gusman and Iginia Guija.

Ma Precenta is not in the document at all. Guadalupe Montes is clearly legible as the godmother, but the software doesn't allow her to be added as such.
The document shows the baptism date: 24 November 1878 with the birth date indicated as 21 November 1878. All information that could be added under the old software, but impossible to include under the new AI software because it doesn't recognize the dates nor can it interpret what it written in the text -- information that is key for persons looking for hints at finding their ancestors.
PLease bring back the old software allowing more flexibility for users to correct the facts.... because we can read. The software can only recognize.

When I try to follow the link you gave, I get an error "This record can only be displayed on certain accounts."
I was able to find the image via "Search" → "Images", https://www.familysearch.org/records/images/image-details?imageGroupNumbers=004940460&rmsId=M97N-D1W&imageIndex=29&singleView=true , but I can't see a way from there to any image index.
How did you get to the screen that offered editing?
Also, note that the christened child in your example would have been indexed as given names "Ma Presentacion" if humans had done it per standard instructions, or likely extracted as "MARIA PRESENTACION"; the full given name was "Mª Presentacion", where "Mª" is a scribal abbreviation for "María".

It looks like the attempts at editing this index entry have triggered the bug wherein doing so renders the record restricted, effectively deleting it instead of fixing it.
I have submitted feedback using the "Feedback" tab on the now-index-free image, with a link to this thread. I pointed out that this bug should be a deal-breaker: until it is tracked down and eliminated, we should not be able to make any edits using the new software.
