Indexing - What Should I Do If Multiple Images Are For The Same Person/record?

I was wondering what I should do while indexing when there is a record for someone, and that record goes across multiple pages/images, especially when the different images answer different fields or questions.

The basic idea is that you fully index every entry that begins on an image in your batch, as if it were all on that image where it starts. However, the definition of "an entry" varies by project. The naturalization projects, for example, treat oaths of allegiance as a separate entry from the petition that they generally follow, but the witness statements (that also follow the petition) are not indexed at all.
