May we explain who the unrelated names on the Unfinished Attachment are? Then we can keep the Source there, but another person looking at the Source won't have to go through the same investigation we went through to find the information.

I am always watching for Unfinished Attachments, and can't remember if one has been checked or not. So my work becomes repetitive.

I don't like dismissing the Unfinished Attachment because the Source disappears, and it is a good Source.

Hi @WilsonCarolMae1. Welcome to Family Search Community and asking your question about unfinished attachments. You raise an interesting question. If you know who the unrelated names are on the source, then either find their record in family search and attach the source. If there is no record, then you can proceed to create a record and attached the source. Here is a link on how to create an unconnected (unelated) record on family search.
