I cannot search for my ancestor and cannot request for baptism for the dead and other temple ordinances for them. What to do? Please help.
Hi Richelle - Welcome to FamilySearch Community and asking your question about the missing temple icon on your account. You need to check to make sure your church membership number is added to your account. Here is a link to the instructions for adding your membership number. Hope this helps.
Ok, thanks for the update. As indicated, you already have an account with your membership number attached. It would be best to recover this membership account first before deleting any accounts. To do this, you need to contact a family search representative. Please follow this link.
1- Select your area of the world from the map. There may be a second choice of location.
2- Once you have selected your location, select schedule an online appointment unless you are provided a phone number to call.
3- Select FamilySearch accounts for the meeting type
4- Select a date and time for your appointment.
5- You will be contacted at the appointed time by a representative who will help you recover your membership account.
