Hi - I have maunly been using ancestry.co.uk and familysearch.org plus have looked at irishgenealogy but he is proving elusive.

is that because you dont know who they are?

or simply because "extended family" just doesnt exist?

I do note what appear to be living persons with that same name - which make me wonder if they are related.

one thing to be sure - is you should always try different name spelling variations

I can imagine the name being recorded under various spellings

also any indication Eamon was not his full complete, or legal name?

I have googled him and found the death notice which may help. I've also tried different spellings of his name.

I know nothing about Death Certificate regulations in Ireland

but would you be able to request his Death Certificate - and do you know what type of info would typically be on a death certificate (of Ireland)
