I can read and speak Italian pretty well..I've not seen this before. It's from 1834. I assume "projetta" means child. Can someone please provide a translation. Is "casa delle natrice" a maternity/new born hospital? Is the child daughter of used mother, Marianna Nistico?

I've asked my Italian friend who just scratches her head

.

Thanks

    Hi @davidst jean

The snip that you posted lacks context, the entire page or a link would definitely help with this.

    The translation would be:

On March 18, 1834 at ten o'clock, the little girl Carolina Ernesto died in her wet nurse's house. She was born on March 12, 1833 and was born to Mariantonia Nistico.

    The Italian would be:

on 18-Mar-1834 alle ore diece e morto nella casa della nutrice la projetta Carolina Ernesto che esposia a 12 Mar 1833 e si natrida da Mariantonia Nistico

    I sure hope this helps!

    Stephen
