Provide an additional "Details" Print Option

I previously contacted Family Search Support with a question related to printer format options, and they suggested that I take the problem to you. So here I am.

When one selects a person to review/research, a format is produced in which one can edit various portions of the “Details.” When you go to print out the page(s), “Command-P” results in the following note:

Try the Print View

The person page has a new printer-friendly view. You can also find it in the Tools menu.

GO TO PRINT VIEW

The problem: I DON’T WANT TO “TRY THE PRINT VIEW.” As far as I can determine, there is no way for me to opt OUT of going to the "new printer-friendly view.” The user should have the option to print out the entire “Details” page as it first appears, without shifting to the “Printer Friendly” format. I don't want the “Printer Friendly” format until I have a finished product. The additional detail in the format produced when you finish your initial search is much more useful as one plans additional research. Please see what can be done to give us this option.

What OS and Browser are you using? I just picked a person at random - someone I researched a few weeks ago - and used the Chrome print option.

I was not forced to "try the print view." This is the result.

    on the person page

    right click on the page

    select 'print'.

it brings up a print pre-view.

select print which always brings up the Try the Print Preview

"The person page has a new printer-friendly view. You can also find it in the Tools Menu,"

I have not been able to print anything for over a year without something not printing correctly. I have not been able to find anyone who can get this corrected.
