I found that some how someone didn't like what was on my tree and went and changed it. I feel I was accurate with my searching using census, FamilySearch data, death record, cemetery etc. My problem is that I didn't keep a paper trail and now I have to redo or forget searching altogether.

    What say you?

As they say, "Genealogy without documentation is mythology". And so it is. The documents prove the case, not opinions. I have found numerous instances in my research where others (and me too) input the wrong data. You can make your case with through documentation.

As is often said in this Community, there is no "my tree." The FamilySearch Family Tree is meant to be one tree for all, with a single profile for each individual who has been on this planet. If your documentation is solid, communicate with the other contributor through the private messaging system. It may be a simple misunderstanding with similar names.

In addition to Áine's good advice, I suggest exploring the change logs of the affected profiles: go to the Details page, find the Latest Changes box in the right-hand column, and click "Show All" at the bottom of that box. You should be able to restore your old inputs, without needing to re-do anything. Just keep in mind that the log does not have "undo" functions: it has "redo/restore" functions instead, i.e., what you're looking for is not where something was removed or changed, but where it was first input.
