I have a batch that is 2 images, the images are for the same person, with the same information and stamped record number.

I have two questions...

Do I extract both images with the same information?

And, the first image has a typed record number of 9005 in the top left corner in the line marked, No.__, the top right corner is marked with a stamped number of 157364. The second image that has the same information for the person, is marked with the stamped number 157364 in the line marked, No.__ Which is the right record number?

It's best if you share your batch code. Your batch code is located at the top of your indexing screen and looks like [MQCB-Y95]. It is also located under Batch ---> About Batch and Help ---> Share Batch.

As a rule, if everything is the exact same, you will only index the first image. This sounds like the first Image's Record Number is 9005 with the second Image Record Number being 157364. You will as need to look at the document name. Is one a Declaration of Intention and the other a Petition for Naturalization? These are different steps in the Naturalization process and are indexed separately, as one may contain information the other does not. Without seeing the batch, you will index both images solely based on the record numbers alone.

It is not a duplicate image UNLESS it is a photographic duplicate (like making a copy on a copy machine). If it is not a duplicate image, then it is indexed.
