Youth Cemetery Activity
Hello -
I came across this activity for youth:
Activity: Cemetery Photos (churchofjesuschrist.org)
I cannot seem to figure out step by step how to do this if we want to do this activity with the young men. Anyone know how to do this within Family Search in an easy way that can be explained to youth?
Thank you!

@Anthony Michael Chapman Interesting. You could use the Memories mobile app on the kids' phones. That allows you to snap a photo and upload it. But said photo is going to be associated with their FamilySearch accounts. I'm not sure that they really want to upload a bunch of headstone photos to their personal memories galleries that are not for their own family members. If they want to do that, they need the FamilySearch Memories app on their phones. Sign in to the app and then, in the lower right, tap the +, then tap Add Photo. They'd probably want to follow-up by searching Family Tree for the names they found to see if they can get the photos added to FamilySearch Family Tree records.
A better option might be to use the Find a Grave app or the Billion Graves app. Both of those websites have apps that let you upload headstone images to their websites and identify the information on the stone and the location. We used one of these for a day of service activity last year and it works pretty well. We did find that most cemeteries in our area have already been pretty fully documented on these websites, however, so you would want to do some exploring before diving in to determine if there are enough undocumented headstones to make the activity worthwhile and enjoyable. The websites give good instructions and the apps are easy to use.
I imagine that other Community members have other suggestions for you that I haven't thought of.
