US, Michigan—Naturalization Records, 1818–1977 [MQCJ-FHY] I am reviewing these images.

Often an image shows a sideways view of "Declaration of Intention". The document shown is not, however, a Declaration of Intention. At the bottom of the document is an Oath of Allegiance. It is not, however, titled "Oath of Allegiance". Should this be indexed as "Other Naturalization Document" or as "Oath of Allegiance"?

Thanks for sharing the batch code. Unfortunately, it must have been submitted as it is now unavailable.

A document doesn't have to have a title to be indexed. If the person is declaring their allegiance, then the image is of an Oath of Allegiance. It kind of sounds like you might have had imagea that were overlays?

If you get another one, post the batch code and hold on to it until someone can give you a better answer!

    Happy Reviewing!
