I'm divorced. I do not care to include my ex husband. But I'm given no option to add my kids. Can you help me. I've tried everything and searched every where.

One: keep track of living family offline. The Family Tree on FamilySearch is for your deceased relatives. The ability to add profiles for living people serves only one purpose: it allows you to connect to your deceased relatives. (This means that adding any unmarried children serves no purpose whatsoever, as they don't connect to anyone that your profile doesn't already connect to.)

Two: your profile and whatever you enter about your living family members are only visible to your account. Nobody besides you can tell whether you've included your ex or not, because they can't see you.

Three: If you go to your profile's details page, you can use the "Add Child" button under your name regardless of whether you've entered a spouse for yourself or not. (If you wish, you can then go to the child's details page and use the "Add Parent" button to add your ex, separately from yourself.)

Just add them as your children by going to your profile page and scrolling down to the Family Members section. If you are there with no husband, just click Add Child:

    Which will result in:

If you have remarried, you can either add the child to you and your new husband and put a step relationship in:

Or you can use the Add Child with Unknown Father button:

To create this kind of family structure:

In this last image, now that there is one child under you without your ex-husband, you can use the Add Child button in that family group, the one just under Miss Other First Child to add more children to it.

(These images were created in the Beta site where we can play around and not make any changes to the real Family Tree database.)
