Dear Family Search

I have a suggestion regarding Couple Relationship. At the moment we have 5 options: Annulment, Common law marriege, Divorce, Lived together and Marriege.

As I see it, there is one option is missing for those who only had a child together and nothing else. No Annulment, Common law marriege, Divorce, Lived together or Marriege.

Would it be possible to have such an option for those who do not fall under the 5 current options?

Best wishes

John Gregers Hvidkjær

Yes! But, I want to further that. What if birth mom and birth dad never married, lived together yada yada, but eventually married other people. I would like to have an option for "spouse of bio mom" and "spouse of bio dad" instead of the "step" option. Why can't the relationship between a child and spouse of their parent be just "spouse of bio parent"?
