Brand-new misbehavior: index corrections aren't showing

The way the probably-a-bot adds the man's surname to the woman's in the newly-published Hungarian indexes Bugs Me Big Time, so I correct it very frequently. Today, I was looking at one that I corrected just yesterday, and it's back to showing the false surname.

What's more, if I click "Edit" again, it lies to me: it labels my correction as the "initial index"!

Whatever was just disimproved, please revert the change, it's driving my frustration levels sky-high!

I made an edit to a surname about an hour ago - Bellonzi was indexed as Bellouzi. My edit is still showing as the only edit. It has not reverted to the misspelling. I'll try to remember to check it tomorrow.

That was quick: the browser tab still shows the false name, but the detail page itself has gone back to showing the correction.

And the edit history has the attributions or chronology back to the truth.

Whew. I hope it stays correct!

    Maybe "they" were listening?

Four months later, the correction seems to be "sticking" on the detail page itself, but the browser tab label still has the originally-indexed, erroneous name.

I have reported the issue. I will let you know when I hear something back.

Often, when I check a record that has been attached to someone, there will be errors in the indexed information. The death registration date will be entered as the death date, the name will be misspelled, people won't be grouped with the principal person in the record, etc.

I will correct the indexed information, like the edit-record page says I should. The corrections show up on the individual's page under the source tab. If I leave the edit-record page and go back, though, everyone who's information I corrected is gone. The edits haven't been reverted, the person and all their indexed information is just missing.

Here's one of the people I was working with: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/K8X7-5RG

Here's the 1930 census record I attached to him and his family: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HY-6XSS-SQ8?view=index&action=view

He, his family, and all their indexed information are completely missing from the census record now. It's very discouraging because I want to correct the transcriptions, but I know that if I do, all the work will just disappear as soon as I close the page.
