Hello anyone who may be able to help. I had a look at my great grandmother, and know that she never left Staffordshire and Lancashire England in her life. So why can't I delete the Time-line entry that she married my great grandfather in the Azores, Portugal. Finding it frustrating cannot find the best way forward and remove this entry - she got married in Staffordshire, England in 1862.

Thank you for anyone who is knowledgeable about unusual entries in Family Search, that may be able to offer a solution.

Regards jannyp

@Janice Pilkington Make sure you are on the Details tab for your great-grandmother, not the About or Timeline tabs.

Most often, this type of totally-wrong location on pages that show only the standardized place (such as the Timeline and the About page) is caused by an incorrect standardized place being associated with the displayed place. To check if this is the case, go to her Details page, scroll down to Family Members, and hover your cursor over her marriage place. What does it say in the little box that pops up? If it says "Azores", then you need to simply edit the marriage and associate the location with Staffordshire instead of Portugal.
