Specific Place or Building research profile pages
A place to jointly share research on a specific place like a house and connect persons who have some extended connection to that place. Not cemeteries, that’s covered by Find a Grave. I’m talking like a specific house, possibly school one specific site, or work place one specific site. I have tried off and on to find a way to house this information ONCE for each home I’ve researched, and then allow persons associated with that home to somehow link to it, as opposed to continuously reuploading and copying the same information over and over. With photos, of said home, yes I can attach one photo to multiple people. But then I would like to be able to click on that specific home and display all the photos and docs and links to that home.
I’m an experienced sr software developer / database admin / design / architecture of a large fortune 100 company. I do realize what I’m describing is fairly large undertaking. Like a familysearch for places. I’ve tried to develop something in my own home for my personal use, using some premade made tools. But. It’s not helpful when I’m trying to collaborate with others. I think there is a ton of genealogy information contained in a place. A specific place, that is. Something SMALL. not an entire city. We have builders in our past , I mean people who literally hand built a structure. Themselves. That’s interesting. It tells about their skills and needs and resources. It tells stories. The homes the selves tell stories. Homes who’ve had 5 generations of the same family born and married and died. I have these in my family and I’m sure I’m not alone. That place is a story of the family. thank you. I did look to try to find a any similar suggestion. I did not see one but there are thousands of place posts, so feel free to connect this to other suggestion or if there’s something existing I’m not aware of that provides this function.

There are 3rd parties that offer helpful FS services, like showing relationships between two individuals. Other users here have links to them handy.
On the surface, they seem to be in a good position to develop something like this and could even be structured for outside collaboration.

@consultchris Are you familiar with the Society for One-Place Studies?

WikiTree has "space pages" that can serve this purpose.
