who altered my tree ?
some kind person has changed my Mother`s name ....My Mother is (was ?) Jessie McMillan 1916-2010 but now she is "Jessie Janet McMillan" with connections to the names Morrison,McLeod + others with no connection at all to my Family. May I suggest you all start a quick check on your tree.
Take care,
Bill Thomason.

I think you need to make a quick check on what this site is all about because you have got it wrong. Please read the link below. It is not long. Spoiler alert: you don't have a tree. This is a community tree and you should work with other users to resolve errors yourself.
So, judging from your comment about your mother being "hijacked", I would recommend you take the following actions: 1) disconnect the incorrect spouse. 2) Change her name back to your preferred version and 3) start adding as many sources as you can find to back up your knowledge.
My deceased parents are heavily sourced, including the use of private documents such as their birth, death and marriage certificates which I uploaded to memories and then used to create sources. I attached all those same sources to their parents so that the connection to the correct parents is well documented. I also make a point to go the other direction as well. Sources for my grandparents which mention my parents are also added to my parents.
A few others have added information to my parents and grandparents, but none of it is incorrect.

Also make certain you are viewing your mother's profile. The FamilySearch Family Tree (FSFT) contains more than 8 billion profiles, but I don't see, on a quick search, a "Jessie Janet McMillan" 1916-2010. Searching by name is imperfect, so profile identifiers are useful. On the FSFT, every person has an 8-digit identifier, of letters and numbers. You'll find it near the name.
