Sources attached?
My question is this, When sources are attached to a deceased realtive example my parents from other patrons besides me the immediate relative Can they attach information that is public record to my deceased parents about me who is living. I have encountered this in my tree from unknown people I do not know how they are related when I send a message they do not reply. This problem is ongoing. I strongly believe Family Search should have a code to ask other patrons permission from the immediate living individual to attach sources. So in my case if someone has my public birth record then they are allowed to attach my marriage record and my family birth records too. I believe this wrong. I do not know who this individuals are. When I add an alert note Family search sent me a email to say they will remove the alert note not to add sources to my immediate family line.If i do not . I feel like no one should add sources of living individuals to my immediate family when i do not know them and they do not identify themselves as related.
Anyone with informative information please let me know something.
